AlBrook Girls Pick Up Dominating Wins In Double Header

The AlBrook Falcons pounded out a pair of impressive five inning victories over Mountain Iron-Buhl on Friday afternoon at Braun Park in Cloquet. The Falcons took 18-0 and 13-2 wins over MI-B.

In the 18-0 victory the Falcons, Kendra Dallmann, tossed a five inning one-hitter while fanning seven. Kourtney Karppinen went 3-for-3 with three doubles and Mikayla Olesiak added a pair of hits and two runs scored.

Justice Janke pitched the Falcons to the 13-2 win in six innings allowing three hits and she struck out six in picking up the win. Dallmann helped with the bat by recording two hits including a double, Olesiak also had two hits and Krystal Karppinen went 2-for-4 with a double.

The Falcons will be back in action on Monday when the travel to Carlton to take on the Bulldogs.
