Turner Leads Eskomos

Jaxon Turner continued with his scoring onslaught this fall as the Eskomos senior scored three touchdowns in the 21-14 victory over the Aitkin Gobblers.

Turner had two rushing touchdowns and caught a 21 yard touchdown reception from Cole Litsey.

In a hard fought close battle it was a 7-7 tie at halftime, and it wasn’t till the fourth quarter when Esko would add two more touchdowns to earn the road win.

The Gobblers did a great job of controlling Turner as their defense held him to only 48 yards rushing on 17 carries and he had 3 receptions for 58 yards on the night.

Litsey led the Eskomos with 58 yards on the ground on 14 carries. Casey Kulas led the defense with 7 tackles, and Esko also picked off three Gobbler passes.

Jaxon Turner, Derek Peterson, and Issak Blue had the three interceptions for Esko.
