Thomas Hansen rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns as the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels bounced back after falling to Mora, as the Rebels beat the Dragons 24-0.

Bryceton Butkiewcz put the Rebels on the scoreboard in the first quarter on a 4 yard touchdown run, to capitalize on a Cole Jusczak interception, and with Wyatt Lampel’s run for the two point conversion the Rebels led 8-0.

The game would remain that way until the third quarter, when again following a Pine City Interception, it was Thomas Hansen breaking away down the sideline on a 60 yard touchdown run. Butkiewcz add the two point conversion and the Rebels led 16-0.

Hansen sealed the Rebels victory with a 13 yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter as the Rebels ended up shutting out the Dragons for a 24-0 win.

The Rebels improve to 4-1 on the season and they will host Crosby-Ironton in Willow River. Pine City falls to 0-5 and they will host Esko next Friday night.
