The South Ridge Panthers shut out the Carlton Bulldogs, as they won 26-0, led by their balanced ground and air attack all night. Leading the way for the Panthers was Senior Reid Clark, and freshman Joe Janke, as they combined for a total of four touchdowns.

The first drive for South Ridge went as planned, until Carlton Sophomore Nate Nilsen picked off a pass in the end zone to prevent a score. The Dogs couldn’t capitalize though, as Myles O’leary would fumble the next possession.

Reid Clark would then scamper it in for the Panthers for the first score on the night with 39 seconds left in the half. The Panthers found themselves in good position to start the next half, as Nate Nilsen fumbled a punt on the 15-yard line.

After a few drives of no scoring, the Dogs would turn it over again, seeing Jackson Mickle fumble a punt return around the 14-yard line, and South Ridge would immediately capitalize. Joe Janke would catch his first score on the night from quarterback Nick Carlson.

Janke soon would snag his second score from Carlson, bringing the lead to 20-0. Reid Clark then topped off the night as he ran into the end zone for his second score, with a final 26-0.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will face Cromwell next Friday, while South Ridge (3-2) will host McGregor.
