Carlton H.S. Announces Athletic Award Winners

Carlton High School presented the 2008-2009 athletic award winners at their annual athletic banquet held on Sunday evening.

The big award winners were; Sam Kavanaugh, winning the Sherman Swanson Award as the top male athlete and Holly Nelson winning the Meredith English award for top female athlete. Nelson also won the Elsie Sjodin Volleyball Award.

The Bulldogs were proud that they had 15 Academic All-Conference award winners. To be eligible for this award, athletes in grades 10-12 must maintain a 3.75 GPA.The Academic All-Conference Award winners are:
