Barnum Falls To Chisholm

The Barnum Bombers fell to 0-4 on the season, losing to the Chisholm Bluestreaks 26-6 on Friday night.

The first quarter ended with a 2-0 score in favor of the Bluestreaks after a safety. In the 2nd quarter, Joe Lescarbeau connected with Jaustin Culbert from 27 yards out.

Zach Skurla converted the two points to make it 10-0 early in the 2nd.

Barnum would answer right back when Hunter Lake hit Colton Ziegler on a 14 yard pass to make it 10-6, but it was all Chisholm from there as Lescarbeau and Skyler Appelman connected for a 73 yard pass play that resulted in a touchdown.

Lescarbeau hit Culbert on the 2 points to make it 18-6 at the half.

In the 3rd quarter, Lescarbeau threw for his third touchdown of the night, connecting once again with Culbert, this time from 21 yards. Peyton Tyler converted the 2 point try, making it a final of 26-6.

The Bombers (0-4) will search for their first win of the season on September 18th when they play at home against East Central (1-3). Chisholm moved to 2-2 with the win.
