Agates Top Hilltoppers

The Two Harbors Agates travel to Bulldog Park to play the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers on Friday evening. The Agates would come out victorious, topping the Hilltoppers 7-4.

Easton Best got the W for the Agates, pitching 4.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits and striking out 4. Alex Lemke led the way at the plate, going 2-4 with 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Tim Luoma went 2-3 with an RBI and Trey Fleck went 3-4 with an RBI in the win.

Tyler Pedersen took the loss for the Hilltoppers, going 4.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 13 hits while striking out 3.

The Agates improve to 8-5 on the year and will look for another victory on May 12th when they play Silver Bay. Duluth Marshall falls to 9-4 on the season and will also play the Silver Bay Mariners next, but on May 9th.
