Two Harbors Tops MLWR In Extras

The Two Harbors Agates hosted the MLWR Rebels on Thursday night. The game would take an extra inning to decide as the Agates topped the Rebels 3-2 in 8 innings.

Lucas Kempffer got the win for the Agates, pitching 1 inning of relief. Calvin Luhrsen went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and Easton Best went 2-4 with 2 RBI’s in the victory.

For the Rebels, Brad Fossum went 2-3 and Charlie Adamczak went 2-4.

Two Harbors improve their record to 6-3 on the year and will look for another win on May 1st when they travel to play the Proctor Rails. The Rebels drop to 4-2 on the season and they will play Aitkin on May 1st.
