Bulldogs Top Mariners

The Lady Bulldogs took down the Mariners of Silver Bay on Thursday night, 44-28 behind Ashley Anderson’s 12 points.

The Bulldogs were up 25-19 when the halftime buzzer sounded. They would do much of the same in the second half, outscoring the Mariners 19-9 in the second half to wrap up the victory.

Anderson led the Bulldogs with 12 points in the win. Nikki Ojibway followed, scoring 9 points. Jenna Reed tallied 8 for the Bulldogs, Millie Groth added 7, and Abby Lemke and Mackenzie Goranson rounded it out with 4 each.

April Reineccius had a game high 13 points for the Mariners. Tara Dow pitched in 6 points, Erika Ernest added 5, and Jenny Walweski and Ally Kloster topped it off with 2 a piece.

The Bulldogs move to 3-19 on the season and will look for another win when they travel to play the Floodwood Polar Bears on February 19th. The Mariners fall to 0-23 on the year.
