Mirage Move On To Finals

The Proctor/Hermantown Mirage faced off with the Moose Lake Area Rebels on Tuesday night in the semi-finals of the Section 7A playoffs. The Mirage would shutout the Rebels 4-0 to move on to the Section Championship.

The Mirage got out to a fast start, with Callie Hoff scoring just 21 seconds into the game to quickly go up 1-0. It would be Hoff scoring again in the 2nd period near the 15 minute mark to give them the 2-0 advantage. Hoff would go on to get her hat-trick as she scored unassisted at the 6 minute mark in the 3rd period. Sophie McGovern would top the scoring off at the 16 minute mark of the 3rd period on an unassisted goal to make it a final of 4-0.

Maddy Gamst of Moose Lake and Amy Lemanager of Proctor/Hermantown both tallied 24 stopped shots on the night.

The Mirage move on to play in the Section 7A finals against Hibbing/Chisholm on February 13th in Virginia. The puck will drop at 7:00pm. The Moose Lake Area Rebels end their season with a 17-9-1 record.
