Carlton Bulldogs sophomore, Tyler Ojibway, was just one shy of tying the school record for three – pointers in a game as he hit 8 from deep and scored 33 points in the Bulldogs 97-83 overtime victory over the South Ridge Panthers Tuesday night in Carlton.

The game was closely contested throughout regulation. At the half, it was knotted up at 30-30 after Eric Soderstrom knocked down a buzzer beater. The second half started out with a much different tune as the Panthers hurried out to a 14 point lead with 10 minutes remaining. Thats when Tyler Ojibway went on a 17-0 run of his own for the Bulldogs to tie it back up and eventually give the Bulldogs a 3 point advantage. The Bulldogs and Panthers would continue to trade baskets from there on out and match each other with 46 points each in the half, sending it into overtime at a 76-76 score. In overtime, the Bulldogs would turn it up, outscoring the Panthers 21-7 to secure the Polar League victory.

The Bulldogs were led by Ojibway who notched 33 points, with 20 points coming in the second half and 6 coming in overtime. Following Ojibway was Eric Soderstrom who tallied 16.
