Mirage Roll in 5-1 Win

The Proctor-Hermantown Mirage picked up their 16th win of the season Friday night when the Mirage beat Hayward by a score of 5-1 at the Hermantown Arena.

Sophie McGovern had the Hat Trick for the Mirage as she tallied goals in each period Friday. McGovern also assisted on the Mirage’s fifth goal scored by Callie Hoff.

Jillayne Gilbert also had a four point night for the Mirage as she scored the games first goal and assisted on three others.

McGovern leads the Mirage with 34 goals on the season, including 5 short handed goals this year. Gilbert currently has 14 goals and 34 assists and is averaging 2.67 points per game for the high octane offense.

Amy Lemenager stopped 20 of the 21 shots she faced on the night as she picked up her 12th win of the season for the Mirage.
