The Broman name has been a popular name in the Northland for several years now, and it continues to get headlines whether its scoring 60 points in a game or reaching a career milestone. Bjorn Broman, averaging over 50 points per game, almost did both in the 93-83 victory over the Cromwell Cardinals, where his reached the 3,000 point milestone while on his way to a 59 point effort.

Bjorn would need 31 points to get to the 3,000 point mark, and he did that with just about 3 minutes left in the half, hitting a 3 pointer which put him over the mark. Broman, scoring 37 points in the half, led the Lakeview Christian Academy Lions into halftime with a 58-44 lead.

The Cardinals would attempt to battle back, outscoring the Lions 39-35 in the 2nd half, but the Lions held onto their 3rd win of the year, winning 93-83.

In the winning effort, Broman tallied a staggering 59 points, which consisted of an impressive shooting night from the arc, hitting on 10-17 from deep. Broman also added 11 rebounds in the win. Also for the Lions, Josh Emerson scored 14, Ben Erickson tallied 12, and Mark Chiu and Josh Klun topped it off with 4 each.

In the loss for the Cardinals, Tyler Hakamaki had 23, followed by Zion Smith and Tyler Randall who each had 18. Austin Pfisthner pitched in 16 and Brandon Fairbanks capped it off with 8.

The LCA Lions improve to 3-3 on the year and look for another victory on the road against the Carlton Bulldogs on December 16th. The Cardinals drop to 3-3 and will look to bounce back on the road against the Wrenshall Wrens on December 19th.
