Broman’s Triple Double Leads LCA

Bjorn Broman was back in action again on Tuesday night, this time traveling to take on the Carlton Bulldogs. Broman would have himself another fantastic game, recording a triple double, in the 93-79 victory over the Bulldogs.

The first half saw the Bulldogs holding Broman to 19 points and forcing him to shoot 3-9 from deep, but the Lions ended on a 13-0 run to take the 49-36 advantage at the half. Broman also recorded 8 assists and 4 rebounds in the first half.

The second half, Broman started to light up the scoreboard. He started the half hitting on 4-4 from deep and scoring 17 points in 6 minutes. Broman continued the hot shooting as he would tally 31 points in the half, hitting on 8-10 threes. Broman would add 3 more assists and 10 more boards in the 2nd half to grab his triple double.

Bjorn Broman finished with an impressive stat line of 50 points, which included 11 threes, 14 boards, and 11 dimes. He also snagged 6 steals in the win. Also scoring for the Lions was Marc Chiu, Josh Emerson, and Josh Klun all scored 12 points. Alec Johnson topped it off by scoring 7 for the Lions.

For the Bulldogs, Adam Ermatinger had himself a nice game, scoring a team high 27 points in the loss. Eric Soderstrom pitched in a nice effort with 17 points, Dominic Bennett added 9, Matt Hey scored 6, Nick Lee tallied 5, Waylon Lekander had 4, Tyler Ojibway, Jackson Mickle, and Cade Pierson all had 3, and Sam Macor capped it off with 2.

The LCA Lions improve their record to 4-3 on the season and will look to grab another win on Friday December 19th when they host Mesabi East. The Bulldogs fall to 3-5 on the year and will look to bounce back on the road when they play McGregor on December 19th.
