Jacks Falls to Jefferson

The Cloquet-Esko- Carlton Lumberjacks fell Saturday night to Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars by a score of 3-2 at the Bloomington Ice Gardens, in spite of out shooting the Jaguars the Lumberjacks could only manage two goals against Bloomington Goalie Josh Waldron.

The Jaguars despite being out shot 15-4 in the first period took a two goal advantage when Bob Lescarbeau scored a pair of goals to put the Jaguars in front 2-0 after one period of play.

Dylan Johnson who also scored two goals on the night cut the lead to 2-1 at 8:07 of the third period as he scored a power play goal with assists to Hunter Roberts and Dalton Johnson.

Jay Johnson gave the Jaguars a 3-1 lead with just 12 second remaining in the second period with an even strength goal.

The Lumberjacks cut the lead to 3-2 just 29 seconds into the third period as Johnson connected with his second goal with assists going to Dalton Johnson and Kyle Klatt.

the Lumberjacks continued their onslaught of shots on Waldron but could not tie the contest as the Jacks fell in this non conference match up.
