The Duluth Clydesdales will jump headfirst into the second half of their season with three games in three days this weekend at the Heritage Center.

First up is the Fort Frances Lakers with a 3:00 pm matinee game New Year’s Eve, marking the return of Dan Smith to face his old team for the first time at home since being traded Dec. 1.

Thunder Bay is on the docket Saturday and Sunday nights, those 6:00 pm games marking the return of another former Clydesdale as Matt Morsette makes his debut as a North Star. All area youth players are invited to come and cheer on the Clydes this weekend; those wearing their team jersey will be admitted for free at any or all of the three games.

The Clydesdales will also continue their series of Hockey Heritage Heroes, honoring former Michigan State Spartans and St Louis Blues goaltender Jim Watt Friday afternoon.
