It took just four minutes for the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys soccer team to gain a lead on Proctor on Thursday night. Ben Pietsch scored from Logan Liimatainen in the fourth minute and the Jacks never looked back on their way to a 4-0 victory over the Rails.

Dylan Johnson gave the Jacks a 2-0 edge in the 37th minute on an assist by Rob Sobczak and that’s how things stood at half time.

CEC went up 3-0 when Ryan Carlton scored on an assist by Halen Danielson in the 55th minute. The Jacks ended the scoring in the 65th minute on a penalty kick from Nick Barrett.

CEC put eight shots on Rails goalie Michael Petoletti, while Halen Danielson made six saves to pick up the shutout.
