South Ridge beats Barnum

BARNUM, Minn— The South Ridge Panthers increase their record to 11-1 with a win last night over the Barnum Bombers 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-14).

The Panthers were led by Senior Justice Janke with 13 kills and 8 digs, followed by  Juniors Mallory Thibault and Krystal Karppinen each with 8 kills. Lindsey Janke added 5 kills on the night.

Senior Setter Mikayla Olesiak had a great night and ended the game with 29 set assists.

The Panthers will play again tomorrow in the Virginia Tournament, their first match will be at 10:15 a.m. against Mesabi East.

The Bombers will be in action again Tuesday at home taking on Braham. Game time is 7 p.m.
