The Cloquet Lumberjack volleyball team opened their match against next-door-neighbor Esko with a convincing 25-10 win. The Jacks then added wins by scores of; 25-16 and 25-15 to pull out a convincing 3-0 victory over the Eskomos in Esko.

Leading the way for Cloquet were setters; Alex Oakes and Sami Westendorf who both had 12 set assists. Oakes added three ace serves and five kills and Westendorf finished with eight digs.

Cloquet’s back row was led by Katie Zezulka who had 15 digs. Up front the Jacks got eight kills from Taylor Leyrer and six kills from Kassidy Steen.

Gianna Jubie led Esko with 10 set assists. Judy Wagemaker finished with five kills and eight blocks and Mary Pelletier had five digs for the Eskomos.
