Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall rallied with four unanswered goals on Thursday night to take a 4-2 win in girls high school hockey over Cloquet-Esko-Carlton in Hermantown.

The Lumberjacks gained a 1-0 lead in the first period on an unassisted goal at 14:37 by Kelly Carlson. Carlson also tallied a goal just 22 seconds into the second period giving CEC a 2-0 edge, but the Mirage stormed back with a pair of goals by Sam Nelson at 9:02 and 11:42 of the second to tie the game entering the final stanza.

The third period was a back-and-forth affair until Niki Mathews fired home a goal at 13:01 to make it 3-2. The Mirage also added an empty net goal with just three seconds remaining in regulation by Emy Albert to secure the 4-2 win.

Alyssa Acheson made 29 saves for the Jacks, while Anja Morris made 26 saves for the Mirage in picking up the win.
