Lindsey Dahl-Holm scored 12 points as the Lady Bulldogs open their season with a non-conference win at Duluth Marshall. The Bulldogs jumped out to a twelve point halftime lead and went on to win by the same margin. Clarissa Nelson added 10 points in the victory.

Cloquet 47 Northwestern 41


Kenzie Rathe scored a game high 17 points including 8 during a 20 – 3 run as the Lumberjacks rallied from being down 11 points to come away with a non-conference win at home. Annabel Morrisroe added 10 points in the Lumberjack win. Rathe added 10 rebounds on the night as well.

Grand Rapids 45 Hermantown 41


Kenzie Kane and Kelly Niles each scored in double figures as the Thunderhawks overcame a seven point halftime deficit to win by four at home Tuesday night. Carmen Bergstedt and Mary Neumann finished with 16-and 12 points respectively in the Hermantown loss.

Barnum 70 Cromwell 26


The Barnum Bombers started their 2010-2011 season on the right foot as they look to defend their state title from a season ago. Katie Myhre scored 23 points including five three pointers in the conference match-up in Cromwell. Jessica Newman added 18 points in the win for Barnum. Kayle Johnson paced the Cardinals with eight points.

ML-WR 55 Mesabi East 36


Maddy Adamczak scored 19 points and Sam Johnson added 10 including two three-pointers as the Rebels win their season opener by 19. Megan Highland led Mesabi East with ten points.
