DULUTH -The Clydesdales have shown again and again this year that they have a knack for exciting plays. Two weeks ago against the Thunder Bay North Stars they scored three third period goals for a comeback win 4-3. This past Friday they scored another three in the final frame against the Fort Frances Lakers, but fell just short 5-4.

Unfortunately tonight’s game echoed the later, with the Clydes scoring with :37 left to tie the game 3-3 and force overtime, but a last second penalty would put them on the penalty kill in the extra frame and they fell after North Stars captain Mitch Forbes put home the winner :27 into additional time.

The Clydesdales fall to 5-10-1 and the North Stars move to 11-7-1. Duluth next visits Dryden, ON for back to back games with the Ice Dogs Friday and Saturday night.
