DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The College of St. Scholastica football program will be featured on a five-part season series called “Inside the Huddle at St. Scholastica” on Fox Sports North this fall with the first episode airing Wednesday, September 10; it was announced on Thursday.

The five, 30-minute episodes will air on Fox Sports North Wednesday night’s following CSS home games at 11 p.m. Replay times of the show will be announced throughout the year on csssaints.com.

The show will be hosted by Todd Fultz and Fox Sports North’s Angie Avestruz. It will feature interviews with new head football coach Kurt Ramler, players and alums. It will also feature highlights from previous home games as well as spotlight the off-the-field experience at St. Scholastica from a student-athletes perspective.

“I think this is a great opportunity to spread the word about what a great experience it is being a student or student-athlete at St. Scholastica,” said Coach Ramler. “It’s such a great experience for our guys and I’m thankful that I have such a great friendship with Todd and that this partnership made sense.”

The show will be co-produced by Victory Press and Elite Edge Productions, who also works with the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Timberwolves and University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, including “Gopher Football with Jerry Kill”.

“For a Division III institution like St. Scholastica to have the opportunity to be featured on a cable network like Fox Sports North throughout the season we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Athletic Director Don Olson. “It will not only enhance our football program’s reputation, but also our athletic department and institution’s reputation in general.”

St. Scholastica football will be entering its seventh season as a program and has made the NCAA Division III playoffs in each of the last three seasons. The Saints have won three straight Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championships and have lost only one regular season conference game in the last three seasons.

“This show will be a good window into our ‘Championship Football, Championship People’ program,” said Ramler. “We feel we provide a unique experience that, for the right person, can be the perfect fit.”

CSS football reports to camp on Friday, August 15. The first practice is scheduled for Sunday, August 17. The Saints open the Kurt Ramler era at home on Saturday, September 6 against Ripon College (Wis.) at Public Schools Stadium.
