Conklin Leads Team Minnesota

Cloquet’s Brandon Conklin has helped Team Minnesota the Championship  with a 9-0 victory over West Virginia in the Showcase Sports National Baseball Tournament in Illinois.

Team Minnesota who went unbeaten in the tournament only allowed seven runs throughout the whole tournament and the pitching was remarkable throughout the tournament.

Conklin has been a steady force for Team Minnesota playing catcher in their first three games as they picked up 3-1 victories over Wisconsin and New Jersey.

The next match-up saw Team Minnesota knock of New Jersey by a score of 6-0 and in their fourth game of the tournament they picked up a big 12-4 win over Illinois.
