CEC Gets Overtime Win Over Proctor

A clearing attempt in the first overtime by Proctor bounced off Cloquet-Esko-Carlton forward Sam Longseth and into the Rails goal giving the Lumberjacks a 2-1 extra time win in Lake Superior Conference soccer on Thursday night.

Donovan DeBartolo gave the Rails a 1-0 lead in the first half and that stood up until Landen Straub tied the game for CEC in the 39th minute
of the second half setting up the winning goal by Longseth.

There was no scoring in the second overtime session.

Brock Anderson made six saves on seven shots for the Jacks, while Proctor goalie, Isiah Schramm made three saves on five shots.
