CEC Tennis Team Falls To Marshall 6-1

After a quick start to the season, the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boy’s tennis team has run into some tough opposition. On Monday night, they suffered their worst loss of the season when they were beaten by Duluth Marshall 6-1.

CEC’s only win of the match came at #3 doubles when the Jack’s duo of Niko Michaelson and Ryan Kedrowkski defeated their opponents 6-3, 4-6 and 6-2.

The Jacks had a strong start to the season, winning seven of their first eight games. Recently, they have faced some of the tougher section opponents, losing three of the last four. However, the Lumberjacks still sport a very respectable 8-4 record.
