Bulldogs Edge Eskomos In Extras

The Carlton Lady Bulldogs continue to tear through their schedule, winning their 12th game of the season with a 5-4 extra innings win over the Esko Eskomos.

Getting the win for the Bulldogs was Grace Macor who pitched 8 innings, recording 15 K’s and while only walking 4. She allowed 6 hits which got 4 runs in. For the offensive side of the ball, Brianna Walton went 3-4 with a double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored, including the game winner off a Macy Belich sacrifice fly. Hannah Benson went 2-4 in the win, scoring once and driving in 2 runs.

For the Eskomos, Morgan Pera went 2-4 with an RBI. Shawna Johnson went 1-4 with a run scored and Michaela Rossetti went 1-3 with a run scored in the loss.

The Bulldogs improve to 12-1 on the season and will play their final regular season game against the McGregor Mercuries on May 16th. The Eskomos drop to 6-6 on the season and will look to bounce back against the Two Harbors Agates on May 16th.
