Hunter’s – Hound’s win East Invite

Connor Behm took home first place in four events recently as the Denfeld Hunters won the East Invitational at Duluth East High School to lead the Hunters of Denfeld to a first place finish in the boys division, while the Greyhounds won the girls contest.

The Hunters finished with 101 points, Duluth East was second with 46 and it was Lakeview Christian Academy third with 24. The Greyhounds girls totaled 111 points to place first, Denfeld had 55, and Lakeview had 8 for third in the girls meet.

Behm took home first place finishes in the 200 and 400 meter dashes and relay as well as first place in the long jump. Ben Halverson won both hurdle events for the Hunters, along with the Pole Vault. Marc Chiu of LCA won the Pole Vault and Triple Jump.

Lucy Robb of the Greyhound won the 200 meter dash and the High Jump as the Greyhounds placed first in 15 of the 18 events held in the invitational. Taylor Olson of Denfeld won the only individual event for the Hunters.
