Moose Lake-Willow River fell to 1-2 in girls volleyball on Tuesday night following a tough 3-0 loss to the Floodwood Polar Bears at home.

The Polar Bears won handily by scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-9 in picking up a key win.

Floodwood got strong play at the net from Alissa Autio who pounded down 11-kills and had 4-blocks. Molli Durovec also had a big game for the Polar Bears with 5-kills, while Kim Larva finished with 17-set assists and Erika Shamburg was spectacular in the back row with 17-digs.

Alyssa Jusczak and Sheenagh Caroline finished with 7 and 5 kills respectively for the Rebels who will travel to McGregor on Thursday night.
