Wilderness Announce Playoff Schedule

Minnesota Wilderness Host Wenatchee Wild in First Round

 

(Cloquet, MN) — The Minnesota Wilderness, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are very pleased to announce that their first round opponent in the Road to the Robertson Cup is the Wenatchee Wild of Wenatchee, WA.

The Wilderness took second place in the Midwest Division in their first season in the NAHL. The Wilderness finished the regular season with a record of 37-14-9 with 83 points.

Traditionally Wenatchee has been a strong team in their time in the NAHL. Wenatchee finished as runners-up in for the 2013 Robertson Cup. The Wild finished in third place in the Midwest Division with a record of 29-23-8 earning 66 points.

Games 1 and 2 of the series will be April 4th and April 5th at 7:05 P.M. Tickets will be available at the gate the night of the games or during the week at the Wilderness ticket outlets. Southgate Pizza, B&B Market and Northwoods Credit Union are all ticket outlets for the Wilderness.

If the series is tied 1-1 or if the Wilderness are down 0-2, then game 3 will be played at Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet, MN on Sunday, April 6th. If the Wilderness have a 2-0 lead in the series, the rest of the series will take place in Wenatchee, WA. In this case, the series would head to Wenatchee for games 3, 4, and 5 and would be played April 11th, 12th and 14th respectively.

The Minnesota Wilderness is in its’ first season in the North American Hockey League. They are based in Cloquet, MN and play their home contests at Northwoods Credit Union Arena located at 1102 Olympic Drive.
