CEC Boys Tie Holy Angels

Hunter Leon knocked in a pair of goals, including the game-tying goal late in the second half to help lift the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys soccer team to a 2-2 tie against Twin Cities powerhouse Holy Angels Academy.

The Jacks took the lead in just the 9th minute of the game when Leon took a feed from Landen Straub, but the Stars fought back with a goal in the 40th minute by Lucas Cibattoni.

Cibatoni gave his team a 2-1 lead early in the second half, but in the 70th minute it was Leon again connecting from Straub as the Jacks tied the game at 2-2.

Both CEC goalie Jarad Weeks and Stars goaltender Adam Roloff recorded 8 saves and neither team could must a goal in the two overtime sessions.
