Patenaude Joins UWS Staff

Former Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College women’s volleyball coach, Mike Patenaude, has been hired as an assistant volleyball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and will join the Yellowjackets staff this school year.

Patenaude was also formerly the head coach at Wrenshall High School, he was an assistant at Esko High School and he has been instrumental in youth Junior Olympic programs as well. A number of Patenaude’s teams have gone on to play in National Junior Olympic competitions where they have fared well.

Each year Patenaude puts on camps as well as leagues and he is considered one of the most knowledgeable volleyball coaches in the region. He also has strength of knowledge in local recruiting circles which will be a huge benefit to the Yellowjacket program.
