Lady Rebels Top Lumberjacks

A big first half by Moose Lake-Willow River helped lead the Rebels to an easy 59-40 win over the Cloquet Lumberjacks in girls basketball on Tuesday night.

ML-WR sprinted out to a 28-14 halftime lead and then maintained their lead on their way to the victory.

Adri Jusczak led the Rebels with 24 points and Kayla Radel was also in double-digit scoring with 10 points. Rounding out the scoring were; Kayley Johnson with nine, Morgan Prachar scored six points, it was four each for Hannah Walker and Ava Szczyrbak both had four points, and Holly Mattison finished with two points.

Cloquet center Kassidy Steen led the Jacks with 15 points, both Gracie Sinisalo and Anna Fossen recorded six points, it was four points each for Sammy Zeadow and Tara Longseth, three points for Hazel Erickson and Kaylee McMillen added two points.
