Hunters Rain down Rails

The Denfeld Hunters used 12 three point bombs to help down the Proctor Rails in a Lake Superior Conference game at Denfeld High School by a score of 93-67 Tuesday night.

The Hunters led by 16 at halftime, by a score of 53-37, the Hunters outscored the Rails 40-30 in the second half to go on to the 26 point win.

Jamarr Harkins led the hunters with 26 points, Marques Jones ended with 15, Jack Monson added 12, and Spencer Wallner chipped in with 10 points on the night. Kjell Randa, Des Turner, and Bryce Kucharski all had 9 points Connor Behm added 3 and Trevor Otteson had 2 points.

The Rails were led by Travis Carlson with 24 points; Henry Haberman pitched in with 21 points, Jordan Berquist added 17, and Bryden Urie ended with 5 points in the loss.

The Rails fall to 8-13 on the season and they will play at Duluth Marshall on Friday night. The Hunters move to 5-16 and they will host Cloquet Thursday night.
