Three AlBrook Girls to Partticipate in All-Star Game

Three Albrook Falcon Basketball Players are going to be taking part in the North Central All Star Games on Saturday at Bemidji State University. Albrook seniors Katie Capriglione, and Sabrina Matuszak, and Junior Abigail Otis will take part in this All Star Game.

The Fifth Annual North Central All Star Games will feature four
girls teams that will play in two games, starting at 1:30 pm Saturday. There will be a skills contest and a three-point contest for the girls as well. There are six
boys teams who will play three games over the course of the afternoon and evening. There is also a boy’s skills contest along with a three point shooting contest and a slam-dunk contest.

There are 32 girls playing on four teams from all over north central Minnesota. Albrook head coach John Villebrun and his assistant Earl Otis will be coaching one of the girl’s all-star teams. There are 54 boys on six teams in the boy’s series of the all-star games.

The fifth annual showcase starts at 12 noon and continues until 9 pm Saturday night. NSO will provide details on the all star when they are over.
