Cloquet Falls to Hibbing in Tennis Finals

The C-E-C Boys tennis team fell in the section 7A tennis Championship Saturday in Hibbing by a score of 6-1.

Cloquet had defeated Hibbing earlier this season by a 5-2 margin.

The Lumberjacks who were the top seed saw all four singles matches swept by the Bluejackets, while the only win was in doubles as Billy Acheson & Kobe Kadelbach defeated Carter Anderson and Michael Sullivan in the number three doubles match.

Doubles: No. 1 — Anthony Patregnani-Reece Blagoue, H/C, def. Daniel Stevens-Pete Tomhave, 6-0, 6-4; No. 2 — Ryan Osborne-Phil Rebrovich, H/C, def. Lucas Tomhave-Josh Keith, 6-2, 6-4; No. 3 — Billy Acheson-Kobe Kadelbach, C, def. Carter Anderson-Michael Sullivan, 5-7, 6-3, 10-6.
