CLOQUET – Cloquet senior Katie Pappas has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Michigan. Pappas, a three sport athlete, has chosen to play soccer for the Huskies and head coach Michelle Jacob.

Pappas, a midfielder for the Lumberjacks, was an all conference selection, a six year starter for Cloquet, named all-area and played in the Kernz and Company all-star game. She was a member of three state tournament teams from Cloquet and was also a member of the Wells Fargo all-tournament team.

Michigan Tech is in its inaugural season of women’s soccer and will be playing in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Huskies will face opponents like UMD, Concordia of St. Paul, and Northern Michigan.
