PHM to Face Roseville In First Round

Today, the Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall girls hockey team discovered that their first round opponent in the 2010 Minnesota Girls High School Hockey Tournament will be the Roseville Raiders.

PHM did not get ranked as one of the four top seeds which went to #1 Roseville, #2 Irondale, #3 Edina and #4 Hopkins. The matchups were determined by a random draw of the four remaining teams.

The tournament starts on Thursday, February 25 with #2 seed Irondale facing off against Lakeville North at 11:00am. In the second game, #3 Edina takes on Roseau. PHM (20-6-2)
plays the first game of the evening stanza at 6:00 pm against Roseville (25-2-1), while #4 seed Hopkins closes out the first day of the tourney by taking on Burnsville.
