The Duluth Denfeld Hunters went into Saturday afternoon searching for their first victory on the season, but the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars also had a plan, and that was to not leave the road trip without the W. The Hunters would end up falling to the Jaguars, 61-47.

The Jaguars would hold a commanding lead at halftime, up 20 points, 35-15, but the Hunters would cut into that lead in the second half, outscoring the Jaguars 32-26, but it wouldn’t be enough as they would fall 61-47.

In the loss for the Hunters, Spencer Wallner would score a game high 20 points. Sjon Randa also hit double digits with a nice 12 point effort. Marques Jones scored 4, Mark Foldesi added 3, and Kjell Randa, Trevor Otteson, Jack Monson, and Mike Benjamin each had 2 respectively to top off the Hunters scoring.

The Jaguars were lead by a balance scoring attack where 11 players would score. Eric Rasmussen and Tim Larson were the two leading scorers for Bloomington Jefferson in the win with 12 and 10 points respectively.

Bloomington Jefferson improves to 5-2 with the win. Duluth Denfeld falls to 0-5 on the season and will have a tough match-up next when they travel to play in the Grand Rapid Invitational on December 26th. They will play Alex Illikainen and the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (6-2) at 7:00 PM.
