Barnum Falls To Mountain Iron-Buhl

Both teams would come in with identical 4-1 records on the year, but it would be the Rangers from Mountain Iron-Buhl that would come out with the 54-36 win and the 5-1 record.

Both halves of the game would end up being similar, as the Rangers jumped out to the 27-18 lead at half. The second half would be much of the same as the Rangers outscored them 27-18 en route to their win of 54-36.

In a losing effort for the Bombers, Daron Mainville would post 18 points. Lauren Hultgren helped with 9, Lissa Warpula added 3 points, and Jaelyn Bushey, Megan Nelson, and Cheyanne Johnson all had 2 points to round it out.

In the win, the Rangers would be lead by May Buffetta who lead the team with 18 points. Chelsea Mason also hit double digits with 13 points. Lissy McCulloch added 9, Allie Knuti scored 7, Kianna Martinson rattled in 6, and Tatum Primeau topped it off with 1.

The loss drops the Bombers to 4-2 on the year and they will be back in action when they play in the Two Harbors Tournament on December 27th. They will square off with the Duluth-Marshall Hilltoppers (2-4) at 5:45 PM.
