Boys Basketball

Duluth East 79 Cloquet 45

Duluth East came back after being down 13-3 to Cloquet, in order to roll to the thirty-four point win at home on Thursday night. Johnny Woodard scored 25 points to lead all scorers, while Chad Calcaterra finished with 16 for Cloquet.

Two Harbors 46 Proctor 33

The Two Harbors Agates built a five point halftime lead and went on to win this non-conference win at home. Ryan Guentzel scored 17 points in the win for Two Harbors. Jacob White finished with 17 for the Rails.

Girls Basketball

Barnum 73 ML-WR 49


The hosting Barnum Bombers continued to roll Thursday night as they beat the Rebels in this girls Polar League match-up. The Bombers Sarah Myhre scored a game high of 26 points. Natasha Dragicevich had 13 for the Rebels.

Carlton 53 Wrenshall 10


The Carlton Bulldogs defeated the Wrens at home Thursday night in a Polar League contest. The Bulldogs’ Lindsey Dahl-Holm led all scorers with 13 points on the night. Maria Burcar scored 4 points for the Wrens.

Esko 59 Cromwell 43


The Esko Eskomos improved to 15-3 on the season when they beat the Cardinals in a Polar League matchup at home on Thursday night. Amanda Bergstedt led all scorers with 20 points for Esko, while Ari Korpela led Cromwell with 16.
