Polar Bears Sweep mairners as Volleyball Playoffs Begin

The Floodwood Polar Bear volleyball team kicked off the post season with a 3-0 romp over the Silver Bay Mariners on Monday night.  The Polar Bears won by scores of; 25-14, 25-10 and 25-18 and are now 8-16 on the season.

The Section 7A first round victory moves the Polar Bears into a second round match up against South Ridge.  The Panthers are 17-8 on the season.

Floodwood got stellar efforts up and down the line up with Stacey Larva providing 5K,6D,1SB, while Sara Scharnberg had 3K,6D.  Emily Hall added 3AS,5K,1SB and Sydney Lough was strong in the back row with 13SA,8D.
