Rebels Sweep The Wrens

The Moose Lake Willow River Rebels swept the Wrenshall Wrens in 3 games as they as they improve to 16-10 on the season. The Rebels finish the regular season at the Proctor Invitational on Saturday Oct. 19th

MLWR dominated from the start as they as they cruised to a 25-9 win in the first game and a 25-11 win the second game.  The Wrens put up a fight in the 3 game but couldn’t pull out the win. The Rebels prevailed 25-21.

Leading the team was Adri Jusczak and Jodi Michalski with 8 kills each. Nikki Grutkoski had 16 sets and Lauren Ross had 11. Hayley Johnson had 14 digs and Andrea Youngberg had 13 digs to help the Rebels to another win.

The section 7AA volleyball Tournament begins on Oct. 24th and runs through Nov. 3.
