Greyhounds Sweep Eskomos

Duluth East roared to a 3-0 win over Esko in girls volleyball on Thursday night.  The Greyhounds won by scores of; 25-16, 25-9 and 25-21.

The Eskomos struggled throughout the match in trying to defend Mandy Kurosky who had 17 kills, and who had a strong game in the back row with 13 digs.  East also got four kills from Marissa Mielke, 22 set assists from Alayna Baker, eight ace serves from Kaylea Atkinson and three ace serves from Kristen Downing.

Esko was led by Mary Pelletier with five digs, Courtney Johnston added 15 set assists, Christaia Houser added five kills and eight blocks while Hailey Salo chipped in with six kills.
