Lumberjacks Stay Hot Knock off Superior

The Cloquet volleyball team continued to steam roll through the competition on Monday night when the Jacks throttled a good superior squad 3-0.  Cloquet took a 25-19, 25-21 and 26-24 win over the Spartans in Cloquet.

Both Kassidy Steen and Chandler Beaupre slammed down seven kills, while Sami Westendorf added six kills, 15 set assists and 11 digs.  Alex Oakes recorded five kills, 18 set assists, four blocks and nine digs for the victorious Jacks and Katie Zezulka was great on the defensive side with 16 digs and three ace serves.

Jessica Lindstrom did her best to keep the Spartans in the match with 14 kills and nine blocks, but the Jacks just had too much depth for Superior.  Nicole Sorenson added 16 set assists for Superior and Miranda Flynn had five digs for the Spartans.
