FDLTCC’s Pederson Named Libero of the Week

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Volleyball libero Jenny Pederson, a sophomore from Saginaw, was named “Libero of the Week” in the Northern Division of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference for games played through Saturday, October 10. Pederson, a 5′ 2″ defensive specialist, averaged 3.7 digs per game over three matches last week. Pederson is the first Thunder volleyball player to earn “Player of the Week” honors during the team’s inaugural season.

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The volleyball conference is comprised of 15 teams which are divided geographically into Northern (eight teams) and Southern (seven teams) divisions.
