The Hermantown Hawks Hailey Hoff had the hat trick in the first half for Hermantown, as the Hawks used six first half goals to take an early lead and cruise to the 7-0 victory Tuesday afternoon in Two Harbors.

Mikayla Kero, Lyla Abukhodair, and Laura Lenard also scored in the first half for Hermantown as they now improve to 4-1 on the season and the Hawks also win their third contest in a row.

Mikayla Kero notched her second goal on the afternoon as she scored the Hawks seventh goal in the second half. Sam Dewey the Two Harbors goalie finished with 15 saves on the afternoon, while her counterpart Allison Samberg finished with one save.

The Hawks win their fourth section match up of the season and they will be back in action on Thursday night when they will face Cloquet-Carlton in Hermantown at 6:30pm.

Two Harbors falls to 2-3 overall this season and they are back in action on Thursday as well when they will face the Golden Bears of Eveleth-Gilbert in Biwabik. The Golden Bears are 1-3 this season.
