The South Ridge Panthers girls volleyball team is looking to make a deep run this season as they will return all six starters from a season ago, but with those returning starters they still have a very young team entering this season with only one senior in the starting rotation. The Panthers are looking to build on a fine 18-5 season from just a year ago and hope to improve on a section quarterfinal loss to Northeast Range.

Head Coach Brad Olesiak will have a good mix of talent this season as the Panthers in their third year of existence have compiled a 38-12 record in South Ridge’s first two seasons. Bridget Paulson and Shelby Slygh return as assistant coaches for the Panthers.

The Panthers will open up their 2013 season at home on Monday, August 26th when they will host McGregor in a sectional match-up at South Ridge High School in Culver. The match is set to begin at 7:00 pm.
