Cloquet to Host 7 on 7 Football Tournament

There have been many unique ideas for athletic fund raisers through the years. Everything from bowling tournaments to golf tournaments to selling discount coupon cards, but perhaps one of the most innovative ideas to come along in a long time is the 1st Annual Touch Football Tournament, which is set to take place on September 26th in Cloquet.

The tournament will take place at the Cloquet High School practice football field with a cost of $75.00 per team. Each team will consist of 7 players and rules and team limits can be found on the Cloquet High School website www.cloquet/k12.mn.us/SeniorHigh.cfm.

According to activities director Tom Lenarz, any money raised will be put toward the new press box and field maintenance for this year.
