South Ridge Girls Come Up Short Against NE Range

Danielle Lenci and Katie Lenci combined for 38 points and Northeast Range picked up a 78-43 girls basketball win over South Ridge on Monday night in Culver.

Northeast Range had three players in double-digit scoring led by Danielle Lenci with 20 points and Katie Lenci with 14 points. Tanessha Dupree added 14 points for Northeast Range who led the game 47-19 at halftime.

The Panthers tried to fight back in the second half and did manage to slow the offensive juggernaut of the Nighthawks in the second stanza, but still were outscored 31-24.

Leading the Panthers in scoring was Krystal Karppinen with 15 points and Kayla Jackson with 11 points. Also scoring for the Panthers were; Lindsey Janke with nine points, Mallory Thibault who had six points and Mikayla Olesiak who finished with a point.
